Lauren Johnson-Wünscher
Lauren Johnson-Wünscher is a freelance journalist living and working in Berlin, Germany. Since moving from NYC to Berlin in 2018, she has written stories that focus on sustainability and justice within the wine and food industries. She holds an MBA in International Wine Business and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, and is WSET Level 3 certified.
Her work has appeared in SevenFifty Daily, TRINK Magazine, Matador Network, Pipette, and more. In addition to her editorial work, Lauren has held various roles throughout the wine industry, including e-commerce wine buying, programming and events for the largest food & wine festival in the U.S., consulting and front-end development for wine websites, and work as a panelist and moderator.
She is also the founder of the Black Berlin Wine Group, a community of 350 Black women in Berlin who gather regularly to learn about wine.
