Lauren Johnson-Wünscher

Lauren Johnson-Wünscher is a freelance journalist living and working in Berlin, Germany.

Since moving from NYC to Berlin in 2018, Lauren has written stories that focus on sustainability and justice within the wine and food industries.

She has bylines in SevenFifty Daily, TRINK Magazine, Matador Network, Pipette, and more.

In addition to her editorial work, Lauren has held various roles throughout the wine industry, including e-commerce wine buying, programming and events for the largest food & wine festival in the U.S., consulting and execution of front-end development for wine websites, panelist, and moderator.

She’s the founder of the Black Berlin Wine Group, a community of 350 Black women in Berlin who gather regularly to learn about wine.

Lauren has an MBA in international wine business, a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and has her WSET Level 3 certification.
